Rev. Sergio Tristan

Pastor Sergio began his ministry at Wellspring in July 2022. He came here following two years as pastor at Pardeeville UMC, and prior to that he and his family spent 2018-2020 serving as missionaries in Argentina. He has 12 years of experience as a missionary with the National Plan for Hispanic/Latino Ministries in Kansas with the Great Plains Annual Conference. His wife Patricia is a local pastor at Windsor UMC, a student at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, and a candidate to become an elder in the UMC. Their two children Yitzak (18) and Sergio (16) attend DeForest High School. Pastor Sergio enjoys playing guitar and singing with Yitzak and Patricia, and he gets his exercise playing basketball with Sergio.
“Madison is such a great area to be in, especially the community here at Wellspring. Wellspring has a unique identity that has the feel of a welcoming small-town church while upholding big-city values. I also appreciate the opportunity to also reach out to the Latino community in this great city. I love to drink coffee, so please let me know if you ever want to grab a cup and chat. God bless you, Dios les bendiga.” – Pastor Sergio
