For Visitors: What to Expect

Worship Time

Worship begins at 9:15 AM in the Sanctuary. All ages are welcome, and we are intentional about making our worship accessible to all. We offer coffee & treats before and after the service. You are welcome to take your coffee into the worship space.

Worship Style

Our Worship services are filled with music, prayer, a biblical message designed to make the Good News relevant in today’s culture. We strive to create an environment where people will want to come to find out about Jesus. We encourage participation from members and friends with gifts of music, drama, video editing, and more.

Parking

We have a large lighted and paved parking lot with a drop off area and ample accessible parking spots. Street parking is also available.

What should I wear?

We do not have a dress code. Worshipers wear anything from blue jeans and t-shirts, slacks and golf shirts, or ties – suits – dresses. Please wear whatever you feel is most comfortable in this setting.

Arrival

At the door, you will be greeted with smiles and handshakes by one of our friendly hosts. We won’t make you stand up or single you out in worship. If you have any questions, our hospitality team will happily direct you.

What about children?

Infants and children of all ages are welcome during Worship time. We have activity bags with coloring books, games, books to read, family friendly tables in our Worship space, and a nursery area adjacent to the Sanctuary to assist parents and children worshiping together.

What about the offering?

Offering plates are available when you enter/exit the Sanctuary. We also have electronic giving options, listed at the top of this page under “Donate.”

How will I follow along in worship?

The order of worship, prayers, and song lyrics are projected on a large screen in the front our worship space. Hymnals are available in the seat pockets.

May I participate in communion?

In the United Methodist Church, we understand that it is Jesus who invites us to the Communion Table. All who love God, seek to follow Jesus and hope to live in peace with one another are welcome. The elements consist of bread and grape juice. We offer dietary-sensitive alternatives, as well.
