Barbara St. John
Office Administrator
 
Barbara has many years experience in office administration, customer service, graphic design and publishing.  She lives in Monona and enjoys spending time with her 7 grandchildren, doing costume design for the St. Bernard Players Theatre and growing her
non-profit organization, Mr. Dave’s Gift, Inc., founded in honor of her late husband Dave “Mr. Dave” St. John.

Eileen Porter
Choir Director
 
Eileen is delighted to return to Wellspring as Choir Director after serving in that role previously for three years. A life-long church musician (vocalist, pianist, arranger, and ensemble facilitator), she can now devote more time to music ministry, having retired from the university as professor of nursing.
 
Steven Webster
Bookkeeper
 

Steven has been Bookkeeper at Wellspring since July 2013. He brings a wealth of experience, as he is also the Treasurer at Bethany UMC and the Financial Secretary and Administrative Assistant at Covenant Presbyterian. Believe it or not, he bikes to work year-round!

Nursery Staff
 

April grew up in southern Wisconsin and has been a member of United Methodist churches throughout her life. She is now delighted to take care of the children of Wellspring United Methodist Church. April has been on staff in the nursery part-time since 2009 and has volunteered in the nursery for several years before that. She has an associate’s degree in child care & development and has worked in several child care centers.

Pianist
 
Leah has a diverse background having earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Public Health from UCLA and a Master of Music and Diploma in Piano Performance from Indiana University Bloomington.
She has been on the music faculty of Antelope Valley College and Citrus College, and has taught as Associate Instructor of Music Theory at Indiana University. She is currently a doctoral candidate in Piano Performance at
UW-Madison where she is a
Teaching Assistant.
 
Esther C. de Laix
Organist
 
Esther has her M.A. and Ph.D. in Music History and Literature from the University of California, Berkeley. Esther received her B.A. in Organ Performance from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Esther is an editor of Recent Researches in Music at A-R Editions, Inc. in Middleton. She has served as a church organist for over 10 years. Esther also has experience as a Music Director.
